Twenty doctors from Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina,
Croatia, Hungary, Kosova, R. of Macedonia, Romania, Serbia and
Turkey attended this two day training. HIVTRI had been invited
by doctors in South East Europe to coordinate a training for doctors
to ensure proper diagnostics and monitoring of HIV and related
illnesses. Milena Stevanovic (Clinic for infectious diseases and
febrile conditions, Skopje, R. of Macedonia) chaired the meeting
and was joined by diagnostic and research laboratory specialists,
Suzanne Crowe (Melbourne, Australia), Alan Landay (Chicago, USA)
and André Capt (Virco,
Mechelen, Belgium), NEAT (the Eurpean AIDS Treatment Network) provided
