HIVTRI goes to HIV 9 Glasgow Congress

HIVTRI had their first-ever booth at a scientific
meeting at the Ninth International Congress on Drug Therapy in
HIV Infection, 09-13 November 2008 Glasgow, UK. At the booth we
distributed the HIV and Ageing meeting report from HIVTRI’s
Krakow meeting our colleague Sarah Bernays’ Being
Positive: Stories from Serbia and Montenegro (link) and our 2009
diary of projects.
Clearly the highlight of the booth was the
preview of HIVTRI
Slide, a free, online slide selection
library which will enable users to create individualised presentations
from a wide range of HIV and associated infection topics to learn
frlom or teach about HIV-related subjects. Over 200 congress participants
registered with the site. Interest was high with many people requesting
links between HIVTRI Slide and their online information resources.
The site is made possible by the generous support of Health
Interactions
who have provided the technology to make Power Point slides easily
downloadable and key word searchable with no need to tag or label
individual slides or slidesets. You can review the site and register
